Evan is a busy freelance saxophonist, pianist and conductor. He is involved in running orchestral and choral projects for Making Music, Radio 3, BBC Learning and PRS such as 'Listen Up', 'Play it Again' and 'Adopt a Composer'. He has also been a Director of Music at University College London. He and Nico were fellow graduates at the Guildhall School of Music, and they have been in professional partnership together since September 2004.
Nico Sabatini is an eclectic freelance guitarist with nearly 20 years of professional experience in musical genres as diverse as rock, jazz, pop, film music and musical theatre, as well as recording and music production. His musical education started in his native Italy, where he performed with international artists such as Greg Bissonette and alongside Metallica. Since moving to London in 1997, he studied composition at Birkbeck College and Post Graduate Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music, was Musical Director of the UCL Big Band and is currently busy performing in London's West End.
We are fluent in a wide range of musical styles and instrumentations, from orchestral to rock, from jazz to electronica. We write and synchronise our music in Stereo and 5.1 Surround.
Previous clients include Discovery, Seat cars, William Hill, Presentable, Liquid TV, Parthenon Entertainment and our music has been heard on BBC, Channel 4, Sky, S4C, Discovery and Challenge and at International Film Festivals (notably Venice 2005).
